The 2010 SCOOP series proved to be the biggest yet, with 38 events and a massive combined prize pool of more than $63,000,000. Scores of new Champions were crowned, with players from all around the world winning big. The Main Event saw midjat walk away with $191,892 for winning the Low-level tournament, followed by victory for Mr.M.MOney in the Medium-level, good for a pay day of $443,137. The High-level event was won by toetagU from the USA, who picked up an incredible cash of $1,162,350 for beating 614 of the world’s best players. There was also success for Team PokerStars Pro, including numerous cash finishes, plus Championship titles for George Danzer, Jose ‘nachobarbero’ Ignacio Barbero and Alexey ‘LuckyGump’ Makarov.
SCOOP 2009 awarded over $40,000,000 in cash prizes, with 66 Champions crowned across 22 tournaments, and it all took place over 11 days of action in a range of different poker games. Big winners included thehoffa and Unassigned, who both managed to win two titles each. Players from the US won the most money and titles overall, followed closely by Germany, Canada and the UK. The series culminated with the 2-day Main Event. JannotLapin won the low-level tournament for $151,203. This was followed by a win for JC Alvarado in the medium level tournament for $502,086, and victory for Team PokerStars Pro Jude ‘j.thaddeus’ Ainsworth in the high level tournament, good for a huge payday of $963,338.
